Before you pick a leveling kit
A few compatibility checks are more useful than guessing.
Know your tile
Record tile dimensions, thickness, material, and the specified joint width. Check that clips, wedges, and pliers belong to a compatible system and match the maker's stated range.
Know the limits
A leveling kit does not replace substrate preparation, correct setting-material coverage, or required movement joints. Ask your installer or system manufacturer how the kit fits the complete installation.
Ask for evidence
Before buying, look for real product photos, documented specifications, instructions, and a demonstration using the actual kit. Tile Tales has not published sample test results yet and is not taking orders.
